April has been a broker for the past 33 years, selling her first property when she was 18. She has been a full time broker in Washington for 24 years and as a top producer in Washington as well as the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. In 2005, she had the highest land sale in Washington selling 95 acres for $1,900,000. In 2006, she sold 118 acres in Kent for $3,000,000. In 2008, she sold 110 acres in Cornwall and in 2009, 99 acres in Kent. While land is a passion, residential properties are equally important and if petite or expansive, attention to detail in listing and selling the properties sets her apart. In 2010, April sold a stunning property in Roxbury for $3,400,000. Her client base is loyal; many clients are repeat sales as well as refer new clients. As a strong negotiator, with key marketing ability and a long reaching network, April creates, and then works through a transaction successfully. April grew up in Easton, CT and attended the Parson’s School of Design in NYC and earned a BFA from Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts. In the early 1980’s, she owned two restaurants with her brothers where she was a pastry chef. After moving to Washington in 1985 and with her husband who is a builder and renovating the house they live in, they fell in love with the area and decided to stay and have raised four children here. April is familiar with everything from pediatricians to where to find the best locally grown tomatoes to where to take a quiet walk. As a member of the Washington Club, WAA and the Connecticut Community Foundation, April is well connected to the community. |
