Alan DiStasio Regional Brokerage Manager of Sotheby's International Realty's Litchfield County brokerage, Alan DiStasio has more than 20 years of experience in the sales and marketing of luxury goods and services, including record-setting property and home sales throughout Litchfield County. Overseeing offices in Washington Depot, Kent and Lakeville, Alan manages more than 45 agents who specialize in the lease and sale of residential, investment and second home property.
With expertise in both operations and active selling, Alan is uniquely qualified to enhance brand recognition and increase market share for Sotheby's International Realty. Alan's sales and communications skills, attention to detail, financial expertise and negotiating prowess, all well honed during his diverse sales and management career, ensure a smooth functioning brokerage operation as well as successful real estate transactions for the company's clients.
Alan is a member of the National Association of Realtors as well as the Connecticut Association of Realtors, and on a local level, he is a member of both the Litchfield and New Milford Board of Realtors. As a resident of Sharon, Alan has served on the Town of Sharon's Long Range Planning Committe, was chairman of the town's Board of Recreation and Youth and has volunteered with its Little League program. Alan and his wife are active members of St. John's Episcopal Church in Salisbury. He is a supporter of the Habitat for Humanity's local chapter and the Sharon Land Trust. In their spare time, Alan and his wife enjoy hiking and cycling in the Litchfield Hills and are members of the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
